Isn't that it. Weapons aren't always a bad thing. It's how and when you can use them that would be. That being said. I really don't know what my whole opinion on this would be. Having seen how they are used other places.

Guns in K would be a bad idea. I would be shooting people who annoy me in my clubs, instead of booting them! Lol.

We had a paint ball game a long long time ago but it doesn't work anymore (something about the avatars not being able to hold the guns).

We do want to bring more features like games (interactive flash games is a must) that people can enjoy together.

Things like this are definitely on our radar but because of the production schedule, don't expect any movement on them over the next few months.

Myself, I don't like the idea of 'guns' being used. I've seen how crazy it can get in the Mall and to think anyone would think it fun to start shooting is silly in my opinion. I like this place just being about fun..........in a gentle way. And that said and a buck will get you on the bus.

I don't see "guns" as a total bad option. I see it as something that could be "fun" if done right. If and when they may be allowed. We'd have to have "safe zones" where no guns would be workable or even be able to be pulled out.

Maybe we could have places like the public clubs we have now for dancing where only "guns" could be used. As well as set up our own places even our homes if we choose to. No reason we can't have them if implemented correctly.

The mall and other clubs and the plaza defanitly are NOT places we want them though. I'd for sure not want to be shot at for no reason other then someone "thinks" its fun and cool. I do however see how guns could be something fun.

I don't know, maybe its cuase I come from a country with one the highest violent crime rates in the world... (South Africa)

but in my opinion, keep the peace in kaneva and keep guns out...

(although I do argee, a special area, like the underground, where you can play a shooting game is would be cool ... but not in players homes or hangouts.. last thing you want is a nuwbe coming to you in your house with a gun saying "give me your credits or I shoot you"... lol)

I am against the idea of random gunplay in kaneva and lord knows there is way,way too much drama in kaneva as it is. However, despite the fact that i don't play shooter type games i do agree that there should be some type of game like that, that can be played on kaneva.... maybe it will give the drama seekers and creators somewhere else to express themselves besides the mall or the hangouts! shoot i might even be tempted to play lol :D

What the heck is wrong w/ people!!! Kaneva is a 3D virtual world. Not some kid's arcade game...A lot of hard work and dedication went in to making it as hospitable to all of us to meet other people from around the world. And some people want to add guns and violence into the mix? Come on now. Now I'm not saying we can't have fun...but that is too much!:(

I think everyone but Corelli and Joshua are missing the point here. This is a game, a game where sure you meet people, talk, go club hopping, maybe go to someone's home, and do a little shopping... this all gets old real fast. We need something like this to ease the tension on Kaneva. And a word about there is enough Violence in the World or our Kids will be affected by this, teach your Kids about this stuff. That's why kids do stupid stuff. As for all the Drama on Kaneva this is why we need a place or places to have things like this, the Drama happens because people get so bored on here and they take there frustrations out on other Players. They have no way to release the tention on here or to have fun. I am so positive that if we had something like this on Kaneva, the Drama and the foulness in the Public and Private areas would be reduced to almost Zero. The Dance Party 3d is fun and addicting, but that too becomes old and stale after a while. That's why they always fight on the other Chat Clients like Yahoo and/or MSN. I do agree that there would be certain areas that Guns could not be used or even pulled out. If you didn't want guns in your Club or Hangouts, there should be the option to not allow it. This all comes down to how and why we added the Access Pass for the Adults, because we want to keep Kids from getting into that. I grew up around a violent time, Cartoons, The A-Team, Mr T, The Vietnam War, The Korean War, all the bad News on TV, and the Violence in my School... the parents are the ones who taught me what was right or wrong and punished me for the things I chose to do wrong. Parents now believe by removing this stuff from a Childs life helps them, it doesn't. Because now we have an almost sterile life for them, they get bored and want to go out and try it to see what happens. But this isn't about the kids it's about Adults having some fun, we just need to impliment things so that kids wouldn't be involved. So if you have a Club that is for the General audience of Kaneva and worried about the Kids, then you can elect that the Club not be allowed the use of Guns. We always blame the Games, Cartoons, News and Schools for the behavior of our Kids, it should be the Parents who are responsible for the way there Kids act. Anyway I have said enough on the subject, a part of me thinks it cool to have safe zones and a place where we can go wild and have loads of fun on Kaneva, it is fun now... but it does get a little boring at times and I find myself wanting to go elsewhere. That is my opinion about this and I am not really for Guns nor am I against it, I just think that we need something fun and fresh to be able to do so we can release some tension on here.

I am sorry - but I don't think that this is the place for guns at all. There are already people here who think they "own the place" and go around annoying people ( pretty much "gangs", "mafia", whatever you wanna call it) and I swear there should be Police that can boot ya all from the game permanently. It's ridiculous, it sets a BAD example, and it's totally uncalled for!

Like it or not, weapons are a reality in the "real world." Weapons, properly controlled, would definitely add to the realism of the game, not to mention being an excellent source of income for Kaneva. There are certain articles of clothing which cannot be worn in the Mall and other "public" places. Why could the same principle not apply to weapons? Forget to take your holster off and you revert to "newbie" clothes.<br><br>
Same thing applies to "privately owned" clubs, open spaces and homes. Give the owners an option of "Weapons Not Allowed," and anyone who tries to enter is prevented from doing so if they have a weapon. <br><br>
I'm a great advocate of freedom of choice. Giving me the choice to carry a weapon is a significant freedom.<br><br>

I think guns would be a rl bad idea. Alot of people a rude enough on k with out given them guns to hurass people with at clubs and the public places. Now mabey a special club u could play laser tag or paint ball in would be cool but to be able to carry them all over makes me see alot more people getin booted out of clubs. If they do I hope an option is given to club owners to block out anyone tryen to enter it with a gun if they dont want them in there clubs.

Kaneva isn't really a shoot-em up game, so don't look for death and destruction games/features to be introduced here.

We are trying to get some games with "action" in them for Q2, and while you won't be "killing" other players you will have the ability to "shoot" them, in a fun way. :)
