Community Hangouts

Alright I started a community and when i go to the 3D hangout it won't let me select anything. Not even the TVs that are already in place to pick a playlist. I like the conference room layout but don't like the horseshoe table and chairs. Is any of this kind of hangout editing possible or going to be possible. I don't want to have to buy all kinds of items just to have to decorate when it would be easier to remove items to start with.

You can't edit anything in the conference room. It's been suggested to change that. :) Those tv's don't work, lol.

It seems to be more than the conference room for me. unless there is a layout that does allow for modification. I so wish there was a page that gave this kind of information so I didnt have to keep using credits to try different ones.

The only hangout layout that is customizeable right now is the small cafe one. You can change the walls, ceilings, floors like you can in your apartment. :)

My question is How do I add new floors to a hang out? I tried adding tiles as a form of stairs, but all the happens is I hit my head on the ceiling :mad: ...

Also, since the Confrence room is uneditable, is there a way to just do away with all the walls/TV's there? I notices some people just build over them, But in some cases it doesn't look that good. If I can just demolish everything and start from scatch, it would be a lot easier.

Pretty much the only option you have in the conference room is to build over it. :( If you have a look around, there are some that are very well done and can give you ideas. :)

The conference room you can't change anything I know it sucks.
Its the way Kaneva created it. But hey! be creative and good luck when you can check out Kaneva Chapel and Reception Hall thats the conference room and boy! momma_t did awesome work with it. Its still under contruction but take a look. In the community look up momma_t and you'll find it.

The creativity part isn't the problem. I just need to know what my options are.. for example, Hickey (the lovers club) has a confrence froom as well, but he has a 2nd and 3rd floor.. When I creted "staris", I get as far as the ceiling and thats it. It won't allow me to go any higher (I hit my head on the ceiling :( )..

What is the trick to go higher?

you can go higher, i think its just the way your view looks that makes you think that. add another step or 2 then lay out a piece of your flooring. you shouldnt be able to see it so if you look up and see the floor then you need to raise it. it will be kinda dark so lamps will also be a good idea
