I recently started a community and have a question concerning questionable content that would be restricted to 18+. If I make the community an 18+ community do I still need to restrict the content that would be restricted otherwise?

Yes, you do. :)

Nadia is correct. If the content itself should be restricted but isn't, it will be deleted when we see it come through the queue.

I agree if the content is for 18+ indeed you need to keep it restricted to those under 18...

Thanks, I just wanted to be sure before I uploaded any of my personal art. Don't want to cause any problems from anything that could be offensive.

Alright I understand the reason for the restrictions. My next question deals in my hangout. I am trying to put together a community were artists can display their work on the profile and in the 3D world. Now if an artist draws a nude and I have to set it to 18+ then I won't be able to display it in world will I? I just want to make sure I can answer any members questions as to why it can not be displayed in world.

You should be able to diplay it in the hangout of a community that is Restricted. Please keep in mind, though, that "Restricted" does not mean "no restrictions on the content".
Please read the Rules of Conduct for more information.

I believe that those who are 18 or older and have their account set to view restricted material will be able to see it. Those who do not meet these requirements simply won't see it at all.
