Does anyone know how to make additional floors for your homes? I have seen some places with 5 or more floors. I tried adding stairs but nope that didn't do it. Any ideas???

you have to buy tiles and stairs. when the stairs are up you put the tiles on. it might take a while........

Yes, you have to buy all the flooring and walls and stuff from the remo store in the mall. IF you can get away with it, the 16x16x16 cubes should be used for walls and floors where you can. THey cost 15 credits as opposed to 38 for the wall and floor panels of the same size.

I suggest you start with the 16x16x.25 laying boards..
though the largest cube(which is cheaper) may be difficult to manipulate on a cramped space like a small studio apartment..
If you will observe, the laying boards have a one-way jump-thru properties..
You may start by taking out the board and raising it to about half-way your ceiling height. You may place any furniture below it and try to access the board directly from the floor of your apartment or on top of any furniture(such as a sofa). Soon as you have accessed the board(on top of it)..presto..you already have a new floor..
The best spot to start first is the apartment ceiling..that way you have already defined a second level..

Well I know before if you built directly over your ceiling, there was a sucking problem where you'd get sucked up unwillingly to second floor. . I don't know if that's corrected now. Like I said the blocks are good if you can get away with it. Like building off to the side of your place IF there's no windows to see it, lol.
well..try it any other way. find whats best for you..
it's more of a trial and error thing..and taking it out of your guts..
