to change your cloths and decorate you first need to buy cloths and furniture in the mall...

to go to the mall click the "go places" button on the task menu menu(blue menu at bottum of the screen)

when you bought the stuff you want open your inventry buy pressing the button on task menu (the blue menu at the bottum of the screen)

and select the cloths you want to wear and click the "wear button"

to place a object is the same as putting on a clothing item, just need to select the furniture tab on the inventry menu that pops up when you click the inventry icon on the menu bar at the bottum
(you need to be at a place you own to drop the object, like your house)

how ever all this you would learn at the help center I sugest when you in-world, click the "go places" button and select the help center.. go there and complete the course to earn money on a coin hunt, and you will learn the basics at the same time
