Building rights

Is there any way to share building rights in your apartment or club with friends? I would love to have my friends collaborate on a group build.

Not in your apt. no - but in a Hangout you can.

Go to your profile - create your community- then get the hangout deed you wish to work with (if you choose to move out of the conference room) - and create your hangout.

Then get your friends to join your community and make them moderators.

They will not be able to put down objects themselves you will have to do that (as the owner) - but items which are purchased with credits can be "traded" so that they can "give" you the items that they want you use and then you can put them down.

They will be able to move all items - they will be able to change media / textures (using those in THEIR inventory).
