Where can items for sale be found?

Besides the mall, where can furniture and other items be purchased? The search function is not very user friendly and I haven't figured out how to search for stores.

Right now the only place I know of is the mall.

Yep. The mall is it for now. Don't spend all your money though. You'll be needing to buy a new wardrobe come Tuesday.
