Does anybody know if there is a way to archive your chats? Or a different way to save them? This a feature they should consider adding if it's not possible right now. Thanks for the info. :D

well.. there is a way to keep a record of them, it is very primitive, but as there is no other way of doing it currently one has to do it this way:
1)expand your chat box that it fits your whole screen, or at least just the section of the chat you want recorded) then press the "screen print" button on your keyboard (it is normally located in the area of "delete" "home" "page up" "page down" etc... or next to F12)
2) once you did that and pressed screen print, open any image editing software (even Microsoft paint, that comes with all copys of window, will work find)
3) In the image editing software on the menu bar (file, edit, view, etc)click edit>paste (as the "screen print" button copys a picture/photo of what is on your screen at the time you press the button)

like that you can also take pictures of stuff in-world.... so best if you need to keep a record of a in-world conversation is to take a picture of the chat box.

and yes I agree, a system to archive chats to say a notepad or MS word document would be great.
