Redisign Avatar

Hi. Lol I accedently made my avatar way too short. She resembles a child now. Her shoulders just barely reach the kitchen counters. Is there any possible way that I could redisgn her or at least her hieght?

I was under the impression we could tweak that kind of thing (personal properties) after you got the avi, but apparently that's not so. :(

we were also told there would be more clothing options if i remember right. i thought when they said with the update that they meant THIS one, not one months from now. seriously if they need testers for this stuff id be happy to give me services to help prevent such a huge mistake

Yea.. my avatar doesn't look like one I created in "Create A Avatar" my avatar is skinnier, smaller and has a 50 years old woman's body.. I don't try to be rude, i'm just saying what I think.. please allow us edit our avatar

Oh my I've noticed this too... My avatar has a 50- year olds body as well =[
I think she looks this way because of her hips and breasts though. They are saggy lol.

I'm so disapointed with the new avatar, as I see everyone else here seems to be also. When creating it, we have nothing to judge height by, and the avatar looks 3 times as large, so I lowered the height. (Why didn't you put a 6 ft avatar beside the one we're creating so we have a general idea of what we're creating, or better yet, let us enter our own height in real life rather than a dumb slide bar that has no meaning to us whatsoever). Now my avatar looks like a freaking midget. If this is what I'm stuck with then I consider kaneva an utter waste of my time and will be leaving. I have no intention of playing the game looking like a freak.

How do I like the new me?..hehe, Well let me count the ways..hehe, IT SUCKS!!!! I took my time creating my ava...I thought I was doing it all right, It looked good until I was finished..then it was a CRAP!!, I am smaller now..my arms look bigger than my legs, I'm not as tall..and I just look to skinny, plus the male ava walks kinda " funny "...I'm just not happy with it. They should have let one preview the created ava for about 2 mins afterwards...then make any changes needed, The female ava's look better, their clothes are better and they have more of them.
Yeah it's free..but they took a step back..I think in the hopes of luring a younger crowd. Everything feels rushed and it shows. I just wished they would have AT THE VERY LEAST...allowed us to walk around with the new ava's and just preview them and then go back one more time and make any changes we felt we needed to them. I should have just created my ava as tall and as buff as possible, but I didn't know what was in store for me until after afterwards..Oh well. **Hugs Ya**

I gotta agree with the majority here, the new avatars really do "suck". My female avi is so small now the pets in my house almost look bigger than her. Besides the size, her body proportions are way off.


The hips are too wide and don't match up with the rest of the body.
The shoulders look as if they are missing the collar bone, look waif like, weak even.
The ladies can not go barefoot anymore; they have heels permanently attached to their feet.
The breasts are ridiculous.
The clothes don't fit the body, especially the chest area.
They seem to run slower.
The eyes glow white, this is a bit creepy.

The men actually look better though.

I don’t really want to wait until I can edit my avi, I liked my previous. I may be spending less time here on WOK because of this.

Thank you for providing this forum as a place to rant. I am not expecting an answer from Kaneva, just needed to say my peace.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. A couple of notes:

-Some of the clothing is not fitting correctly. This is a bug and we'll fix it.
-Female shoes not coming off is a bug also. You will be able to take your shoes off and of course, we're putting new shoes in as well!

I am sorry that you are disappointed, this is a beta version of a game, people will be disappointed and there is MUCH room for improvement. Nobody here has denied that, even wokadmin has sad this before, or something to the effect of it.

Well, all I can tell you is you will be missed.

I appreciate your comment and do realize this is a beta, I think I am over the initial shock for now. I still wouldn't mind getting the chance to redo my creation. Like being taller, and the face not being so prominent (nose, lips).

Looking forward to the next change. ;)
