how do i get to the kaneva 3ds max plugin directory cause thats confusing me thnks.
This was the instruction i need help with doing:


Manually Installing the 3ds max Plugin
If the KGP install did not detect the 3ds max plugin folder, or you want to install the plugin on another computer or perform a reinstall of 3ds max:

1.Copy <installdir>\bin\KanevaPlugin.dle to the 3ds max plugin directory.
2.When you restart 3ds max , the "Kaneva Object" file type will be available from the Export menu.

I dont know how to get to the 3ds plugin directory thnks.

depending on the version of 3ds max you using, you might need to ask a kaneva staff memeber to foward you the update to it.

but here is what you would do... open "my computer" then your harddrive (normally "C:/") then "program files" then "Kaneva" then open the folder saying "platform" then the folder saying "bin". In there you will find a file called "kanevaPlugin.dle", right click and choose copy... then go back to program files, open the folder saying "autodesk" then "3ds max" and then the folder saying "Pulgins".

To do the above you NEED to have 3ds max installed on you PC
