Default Doors

Why do some doors work and some don't? I'm confused! I bought a door that worked fine in a community, but when I took it someplace else, it stopped working. Thanks for your help! Missy

The older doors, like this one were not made to be walked through. If you are able to walk through them, it is most likely due to lag in the community.

She said in some places it works and it others it does not. I'm wondering is she's putting a "working door" next to a wall. If I put a "working door" on a wall of a manor home or conference room wall the wall will keep you from going through it. Is that what you're talking about?

Oh my, you got it! I thought by putting a door in a wall, that automatically created an opening, but unfortunately, it does not.

I tried my door again and put smaller pieces of wall around the door so it looks okay, but it's not too great once I apply my texture because that's smaller too. Hmm. I will have to work on this to get the hang of it. I take it windows are the same deal.

Thanks again for helping me figure this out!

Missy

Wouldn't that be cool? I've often thought how wonderful it would be to just put a door wherever you want it and it would work. Don't think there's any way of making that work so I've never suggested it.

Glad I could help you figure out your problem.
