Jaz Style's 1st Fashion Show!!!

Jaz Style is having its 1st Fashion Show on its newly made runway and what we need now are contestants,workers, and judges!

The Fashion Show
Jaz Style's 1st Fashion Show will be held on May 30th,2009, starting at 8pm eastern usa time.
This Fashion Show being its the club's first is open to everyone,its not a designers only competition, you wear what you have.
The show will be comprised of 4 categories and 2rounds, the models will wear whichever outfit they feel would best represent the category.
In the middle of the show we will have a brief 1/2 hour intermisson to give every1 a little break and give a member of the audience a chance to win a prize in a Dance Competition...(Prize to be announced)

The Contestants
The Fashion show is open to both boys & girls,and they will each be judged seperately.Meaning we will have a top 3 for the girls and a top 3 for the guys.
We are looking to have no more than 12 contestants for each gender,if you'd like to be in the show please post your name here in this thread.
To make sure all the contestants prepared and know what they're doing we will have 3 rehersals.*IT IS MANDATORY TO ATTEND AT LEAST 1,FAILURE TO DO SO AND YOU WILL BE DROPPED FROM THE SHOW.* (Dates to be announced)
All contestants are required to be at the club 1 hour before the show for a head check and preparation.
If you are not able to be in the show please let me(Jazmine115) or 1DEBORAH know a week in advance so that some other willing applicant may fill you slot. *FAILURE TO DO SO WILL PREVENT YOU FROM PARTICIPATING IN OUR NEXT SHOW*

The Judges & The Judging
For the Show we will need 4 judges(2girls,2boys) and we will also need 2 back-up judges in the event a judge can't make it(1girl,1boy).
For the judging the judges will grade each contestant with a score from 1-10 and record it silently.Then before the intermission the judges will announce the names/numbers of the 6 contestents of girls and the 6 contestants of boys who will be moving on to round 2 after the intermission.
(I recommend each judge keeps a piece of paper with the names/numbers of each contestant and record it there)
Finally after all the categories have been said and done the judges will add up the scores of the remaining contestants from both rounds and pm me and the show's mc the top 3 girls & the top 3 boys, in order from 3rd place to 1st place, with their overall scores so that we may announce our winners!!

The Workers
To help keep the night as orderly as possible, we will require a work crew.
The available jobs are:
2 Ushers/Greeters
2 Security Guards
1 Stage Mangager/Director
1 Video Person
1 MC (meaning some1 who can DJ live)
Before you are hired you must come to the club and show me your skills.(If your applying to be the video person you can tell me a video you've already done for some1 so I can view it)
All workers will be paid, to talk about the pay arrangements all workers will be invited to the club on a given date to talk about and negotiate payments.ALL WORKERS ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND THIS 1 MEETING, IF YOU MISS IT YOU WILL BE REPLACED AND IF YOU CANNOT BE AT THE SHOW MAKE SURE YOU TELL ME AT THE MEETING.*FAILURE TO TELL ME AT LEAST 5DAYS BEFORE THE SHOW YOU CANNOT COME WILL PREVENT YOU FROM PARTICIPATING IN OUR NEXT SHOW*(If you are the Video Person or Live MC you can negotiate your pay into a large billboard to be placed in the club where you please,as long as it does not interfere with anything else in the club)
*If the slot you want is already filled don't be discouraged, jus keep urself available you'll never know if some1 is unable to attend for whatever reason*

*FASHION SHOW PRIZES*
For Girls:
1st place-1,500credits/a boquet or roses/a permanent spot on our winner's wall
2nd place-1,000credits/a rose
3rd place-500credits

For Boys:
1st place-1,500credits/a trophy/a permanent spot on our winner's wall
2nd place-1,000credits/a stuffed tiger for their home or hangout
3rd place-500credits

*Also Donations to the show are accepted and will be mentioned in the video with the person's name and amount, in the club along the walls, around the fashion show area, and on the winner's wall until we get our 1st winners.*

Ok the jobs are sure filling up...but we still need contestants come on girls and guys this is a fun event to show off ur style and win some cash for it.

I've been talking about the fashion show with some of my family and they like the idea but they say this isn't really a guy's scene.Since there aren't many male contestants I've decided to drop the guy portion from the show and add the male credit prizes onto the girl's prizes.All of the guys who did sign up will recieve 250credits each for joining tho

New Girl's Fashion Show Prize List!!

4th-6th place:100credits/a rose

Also the prize to be given out during the intermission dance competition will be posted here probably later today. Make sure ya look out for it.
